In this talk, you’ll hear from Fidelidade’s Innovation Hero, Vera Rodrigues, and Gustavo Alves, Director of Growth at LoopOS, as they share how collaboration moved beyond the pilot stage to scale real-world solutions that combine innovation, insurance, and sustainability.
LoopOS, a Portuguese tech company specializing in circular economy solutions, worked with Fidelidade through the Protechting program to rethink how insurance salvage could create environmental and economic value. What began as an experimental pilot evolved into a scalable model for recovery and reuse, applying circular principles to the insurance sector.
Their collaboration didn’t stop there, LoopOS was later selected for the Protechting Roadshow to China, where the team connected with global players such as Huawei and the Fosun Group, expanding their international network and opening new business opportunities. Through close cooperation, feedback, and cross-team collaboration, the partners transformed a decades-old challenge into a digital, data-driven process, proving how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand to build a more efficient and responsible future for insurance.
